Commenting on the launch Puneet Das, President – Packaged Beverages, India & South Asia, Tata Consumer Products Limited said, “The essence of Tata Cha is all about Indians’ love for chai and pleasantries over a hot cup of tapri wali chai. TATA Cha has a strong understanding of the India preference for fresh boiled tea and the nuances of the beverage. We have combined this with the warmth and informal ambience that the corner tea-shop offers, bringing it all together in a modern hygienic environment. These newer outlets in Bangalore are designed to reflect the heritage of Tata Consumer Products while embracing the local cultures. With an aim to optimise the ‘out of home’ tea drinking experience coupled with snacks, the essence of Tata Cha’s offering is rooted in being truly and authentically Indian.”
The extensive menu is crafted to revive some lost Indian recipes to evoke moments of warm nostalgia in the consumers’ minds. It has a host of flavorful hot teas on offer like ‘Extra Kadak’ and ‘Doodh Wali Kadak Chai’ to appeal to popular tastes and exciting teas from different parts of India for tea lovers- Masala, Gulkand, Chatpata Churan black tea.. In addition the store offers special origin teas from Assam, Sikkim, Nilgiri and Darjeeling for tea connoisseurs.
